Facilities
Every private hire at the RDYC comes with access to the club kitchen and catering team, the bar, and the full hospitality support of Phil Almond and his team. We do not do self-catered rooms with a kettle in the corner.
The Quarterdeck has a projector, screen and audio system for presentations and speeches. There is no on-site parking, but the Darthaven Marina car park is the closest option, though it does fill up. Road parking is available on the hill above the club. The club is accessible from Dartmouth by the Higher and Lower Ferries, and the Noss Ferry provides an additional river crossing from Noss Marina, which makes arrival by water a genuinely practical option for guests.

We have hosted weddings, wedding receptions, anniversary dinners, birthday celebrations, corporate events, sailing association dinners, prize-givings, charity fundraisers, memorial receptions and everything in between. The common thread is that people leave wanting to come back.
Every event is built around what you actually want, not a standard package with your name on the front. The team listens, plans carefully, and makes sure the details are right. A spectacular setting is a good start. What happens inside it is what matters.

Private Hire
Three distinct spaces, all of them with something to offer, and all of them with that view.
The Quarterdeck is the largest, seating up to 60 for a dinner or 80 for a standing reception, with full audio-visual equipment, air conditioning and direct access to the terrace. If you need a room that works equally well for a formal dinner, a presentation or a drinks reception, this is it. The dining room is a more intimate option, taking between 12 and 40 guests, and works well for private dinners, smaller celebrations and meetings where you want a proper setting without a large room around you. For outdoor events, the terrace and marquee are available from September to May, subject to availability, and offer what is genuinely one of the finest al fresco settings on the River Dart.
