Spirit of the Dart: RDYC Has Its Own Rum Cask

The club now has a new arrival on the water, our very own exclusive rum cask, freshly landed from Salcombe.
To celebrate, we're hosting Spirit of the Dart on Tuesday 21st July, an evening with the founders of Salcombe Gin.
The 1866 Sundowner Hour runs from 5pm to 6pm, that golden stretch when the light goes soft, the water goes glassy, and someone inevitably says "we really are lucky to have this on our doorstep." They're not wrong.
Then the main event carries on from 6pm to 9pm with signature cocktails, the story behind the collaboration, and a sunset DJ session with laid-back beats and the best view on the Dart. Bring a friend, bring a thirst, bring someone to steer you home.
Come and sip, discover and celebrate. Raise a glass to the Spirit of the Dart, to nautical collaborations, and to a cask we can finally call our own. It's not going anywhere, but the rum inside it might.
