My first experience of sailing was in a Mirror dinghy I helped to build. I have never been cured of a love of messing about in boats.
As an adult I subjected my wife Barbara and two sons to years of trailer sailing (Enterprise, Drascombe Dabber, Swift 18, MacGregor 26) before finally settling on an Etap 24i moored at Dittisham.

Tim took the job of RYA Principal for RDYC Junior Sailing in January 2008. Having sailed from an early age, Tim is keen to get youngsters afloat to develop their sense of achievement and self reliance. He has been an RYA Ocean Yachtmaster since 1985 and has skippered and raced competitively since then.
