The Club is located on east side of the River Dart at Kingswear
The town of Dartmouth is directly opposite with regular daily ferry crossings
Visiting Yachtsmen planning to come to the river Dart will find a number of anchorages and visitors moorings on the river, also on the visitor pontoons on the east side of the river and on the town pontoon. The Royal Dart does not have any visitors moorings however visiting yachts are welcome to berth their yachts alongside the Club pontoon for a short period, but not overnight, provided the skipper does not leave the Club premises
Dart Harbour Authority Berthing
For guidance please call the Dart Harbour Authority on Ch 11 - call sign DARTNAV - on arrival. Harbour Authority boats are usually on duty daily and should be available to help. Please co-operate with the Harbour master if requested to do so
Immediately after the RDYC is the slipway for the Lower Car Ferry between Kingswear and Dartmouth. Most of the time two ferries operate, so take care to avoid both of them. The Passenger Ferry pontoon in Kingswear is immediately after the Lower Car Ferry slipway. The Passenger Ferry goes diagonally across the river to the main quay in Dartmouth, a little further upstream than its pontoon in Kingswear.
Darthaven Marina lies just beyond the Passenger Ferry pontoon. Contact us on VHF channel 80 – the visitors' pontoons are as marked on the right
Limited berths are also available at Dart Yacht Harbour and at Noss Marina. Call VHF Channel 80 for both marinas
